MYP is a small, not for profit, family support service based in Monkstown Co Dublin.  We provide a range of supports to children, young people and families who experience challenges - our aim is to assist those in the community to realise their full potential and contribute to a prosperous society.

We provide these supports in a safe and caring environment.

The Role

The role as Trustee of My Project involves participation as  a member of a board.  The candidate should have prior experience in finance and an accountancy qualification, and general business expertise. 

General Trustee duties of a Charity Trustee

• Comply with the Charity’s governing document

• Ensuring charity is complying with its charitable purpose for the public benefit

• Acting in the best interest of the charity

• Act with Reasonable Care and Skill

• Manage the assets of your charity 

We have achieved compliance with the Charity Code of Governance and the board reviews this ongoing compliance at each board meeting.

We are seeking a board member who can provide us with support and financial expertise and  to review a suite of monthly finance and payroll reports. 

We hold approximately 6 board meeting each year and we invite all board members to attend. Meetings are held virtually via Teams.
