Christine Buckley Centre for Education and Support provides a place of welcome, dignity, safety and respect where survivors of institutional abuse can feel supported and empowered and participate in a healing journey as they endeavour to rebuild their lives and find the sense of self worth they truly deserve.
Located in Dublin City centre, we aim to achieve this through education, personal development, holistics and creativity in a community setting. Our centre is a place where people benefit from the welcome, advice and skills, imparted by our team and from peers.
During the current pandemic we are providing a telephone support service for survivors many of whom are feeling very isolated because they have no family members who can support them. Peer support activity is one of the methods to address their feelings of isolation.
Formerly known as Aislinn Education and Support Centre for Survivors of Institutional Abuse, our team has been supporting survivors for 20 years.
