Board member with Legal, Social care, Finance, HR experience

The Board and Trustees of The Cottage Home Child and Family Services are seeking to expand membership of this dynamic organisation.

The Cottage Home is a voluntary, non-profit organisation, and is one of Ireland’s leading residential care services.

Membership on the Board of this highly focused and caring enterprise is an

opportunity to advance the interests of generally disadvantaged young people and families in the community, and to provide active opportunities for improved living circumstances and positive change. This opportunity carries with it a huge

responsibility for Board members to think and act in the interests of young people in their care.

Following a skills audit of our current Board, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in

• Law
• Charity Governance
• Social Care
• Finance
• HR

This is a voluntary, unpaid role, which will include attending monthly Board meetings and actively participating in the work of the Cottage Home Board as it fulfils its governance responsibilities, and in membership of relevant Board sub-committees as required.
